Enex Technologies joins the United Nations Global Compact

Enex Technologies, a global leader in natural refrigerant solutions for commercial and industrial cooling, heating, ventilation and refrigeration (‘HVACR’), is proud to announce that it has joined the United Nations Global Compact, the world’s largest corporate sustainability initiative for the development, implementation and disclosure of responsible business practices.

This commitment means operating responsibly, in line with the Ten Universal Principles, taking action to support society and reporting annually to the UN Global Compact on progress achieved.

The Ten Universal Principles

The Global Compact encourages companies around the world to build an economic, social and environmental framework that fosters a healthy and sustainable global economy, ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to benefit from this growth.

To achieve this goal, the Global Compact calls on member companies and organisations to adopt, promote and integrate into their sphere of influence a set of core principles, covering human rights, labour standards, environmental protection and anti-corruption.

These principles are universally shared, as they originate from the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the ILO Declaration, the Rio Declaration and the UN Convention against Corruption.

The ten principles of the Global Compact can be found on the following webpage: The Ten Principles | UN Global Compact

Launched in 2000, the UN Global Compact is an international network of companies, governments, institutions and organisations, whose commitment is to share, promote and implement the principles and values for the adoption of common policies in support of sustainability, embodied in the ten universal principles in the areas of human rights, labour, environment and anti-corruption.

Joining the Global Compact reinforces our sustainable growth strategy by underlining our commitment to generating value for our customers, and for all our stakeholders. We recognise the critical importance of manufacturing companies in contributing to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals and innovating business models that foster just and responsible development. Enex Technologies and its people have always been committed to developing innovative, frontier solutions that serve the energy transition.” underlines Luca Marini, Marcom & ESG Director at Enex Technologies.

With this announcement, Enex Technologies joins more than 15,000 organisations in more than 160 countries that are actively engaged in creating an economic, social and environmental framework to promote a healthy and sustainable global economy that ensures everyone can share in its benefits.
