Free cooler systems

Air extraction - canalized
VFC

VFC
From 1000 m3/h to 4000 m3/h

The Free-cooler system has the characteristic of guaranteeing continuous air changes with the primary objective of transferring the heat generated by the equipment to the external environment (for dissipation).
The VFC series air extraction system is composed by one or more centrifugal fans extracting the exhaust air from the internal environment and by a PLC controlling the entire working cycle and managing and generating the related alarm conditions.
This system when coupled with an Ethra Tech air conditioner can be managed by the same air conditioner controller, without need for a dedicated PLC.

SYSTEM COMPOSITION
• Ventilation group system (box + fan/s)
• Electrical panel “Command and Control” consists of general disconnecting switch breaker, PLC and maximum temperature thermostat
• Air inlet grid/s with insect protection (horizontal)
• Dusty filter/s
• External plenum+ Overpressure damper
• Differential air pressure switch

Fan speed is adjusted with “PROPORTIONAL” (0-10V) signal.
By adopting the regulation “PROPORTIONAL”, are avoided thermal shock conditions when the outside temperature is very low.
This system can also be identified as an emergency system to cool the room as it is provided an electromechanical controller (thermostat) that allows to feed the fan in an independently and separately when the detected temperature exceeds the predetermined values.
In case there is not possibility to wall mount the ventilation group system or if it necessary to install in a different position the Fans (for example in Rooms) the VFC solution can be complemented with the optional supply of one air extracting channel and related connecton duct plate.
For particular conditions, on request it can be provided the VFCS series which allows installation in critical low noise sites, by means off additional external soundproofed plenum.
